Running ShortsThere are a gazillion brands and types of running shorts. Look for a pair that is made from a technical fabric that wicks away moisture and has a built-in liner so that you don't have to mess with underwear. The trick is to find a pair that is not so short that they look goofy, but not so long that the bottom of the shorts rub against your legs and chafe. Some other things to consider are a little pocket for your keys and maybe some reflective trim for safety. You can't go wrong with black or dark blue like the xyz shown here. The Stick is a roller that comes in varying lengths and firmness that is used on different parts of your body to massage muscles and relieve pain. They range in price from $25-$49. This EnduranceJunky was talked into buying one by his triathlon friends. This thing is now my best friend. I use it on my calves and hamstrings after all of my long runs. It does an excellent job of working out the knots in muscles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! |
