Twitter is a free micro-blogging site that allows you to post short 'tweets' about what you are currently doing. EnduranceJunkies.com has embraced Twitter as a platform for sharing your workout information and staying in touch with your groups and friends.

EnduranceJunkies.com can automatically post your training log activities as tweets to your Twitter account. When you create a new training log entry, you will have the option to post it to Twitter. Your activity will post as a tweet in a format like the one below, including a link to your training log.

To begin posting your training log activities to Twitter, visit the Account Settings tab in your profile and look for the 'Post your workouts to Twitter' link. If you are not yet an EnduranceJunkies.com member, sign up for your free account now.

Groups on EnduranceJunkies.com are used by members for things like local running clubs or people that have similar interests. A Twitter account can be created for your Group and EnduranceJunkies.com will automatically post notices for things like new group members, new group events and registration for group events.

Group members then follow the Group's account using Twitter. Group updates appear in their Twitter feeds and look like the ones below.
